Please, read these General terms and conditions, including the Privacy Policy (henceforth referred to as “Terms”) thoroughly before you’ll start using Speaking Friends (henceforth referred to as “Service”) operated by Pine Tree Enterprises, s.r.o. (henceforth referred to as “Provider” or “Us”).
By using the Service, you are giving your consent to these Terms. These Terms are binding to all visitors to the Service’s website, both registered and unregistered users. Visiting and using the Service is subject to compliance with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms or any part thereof, you may not visit or use the Service.

The Service provides educational courses for self-learners via the internet. The Service comprises of numerous materials including, but not limited to, audio, video, articles, learning methods with repetition, interactive exercises, files to download. The modules available to the user can vary based on different versions of the Service.
In case it is not stated otherwise, the Provider is the owner of the Intellectual Property to the Service, teaching methodology and all materials. Intellectual property rights are reserved. Unauthorized use of the Service constitutes a copyright infringement that has civil and criminal consequences.
The user is authorized to use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes and provided that all copyright and ownership statements are followed.
The User may not modify, publish, rent, reproduce, duplicate or imitate the Service or otherwise use the Service for any public, marketing or commercial purpose. It is forbidden to use the Services materials on any other website without the written consent of the Provider. It is forbidden to use the Service if it may cause damage to the Service or impair the availability of the Service for other users.
It is forbidden to perform systematic or automated data collection on the Services website. It is forbidden to use the Service in any way that is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful.
The User acknowledges that the Service is developed on the basis of feedback, new trends and technologies, which means that some features and content of the Service may be updated, modified, terminated, or replaced by others at the discretion of the Provider without prior notice.
The User acknowledges that the Provider does not guarantee support for the Service or the possibility to use the Service for more than one year from the purchase of access to the Service.
Access to certain areas of the Service is limited and/or conditional based on the purchase of stated access.
If a user has created a user account, they can not make their password available to another person, or allow their user account to be used by another person to gain access to the Service.
The fee for access to the Service is governed by a valid price list published on the Website of the Service as of the date of the purchase of access to the Service.
In the case of the automatic payment of the fee, the customer agrees with the automatic payment fee without the need for a special payment authorization from the payment card holder. When you agree to automatic payment, this approval is valid for five years, with the Customer being able to cancel it at any time within the functionality of your user account on the Service.
The price for providing access to the Service is governed by the current price list. The Provider reserves the right to change the price for access to the Service at any time without prior notice or explanation.
The Provider allows you to use the Service free of charge for the first 7 days from registration in order to try out the Service. Testing the Service does not give the user any obligation to pay fees if the user decides not to use the service after the expiration of this trial period.
In the event of purchase of access to the Service, the User may withdraw from the contract within 30 days. The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI), Prievozská 32, P.O. Box 5, 82007 Bratislava 27.
If the user withdraws from the contract within 30 days, the Provider shall return to the customer upon a prompt written request an aliquot of the price of the purchased access from the date of termination of access to the paid access date.
The Provider reserves the right to deactivate the user's account at any time at their discretion without prior notice or explanation. If a user has paid for access to the Service, within one month of stopping access, the user may request the return of an aliquot of the price of the purchased access from the date of termination of access to the paid access date.
The Provider hereby declares that all personal data the user provides to the operator or which the Provider requires as part of the creation of a user account, are requested and will be processed and used only on the basis of the user's consent, in accordance with the Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data (GDPR).
These Terms of Use will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, and any disputes regarding these terms of use will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic.
Invalidation of any provision in the Terms does not invalidate any other provisions that are not affected by such grounds of invalidity.
We may modify these Terms without prior notice. The revised Terms of Use will apply to the use of the Service from the moment of publication.
